For My Sister 🤍💜🖤

My sister is only 25-years-old, and for years now she has been fighting a battle that no one her age should ever have to face. She has neuroendocrine cancer. She fights hard every day, and for a short time, we got to hear the news we had been desperately hoped for: remission. But unfortunately, our relief and happiness didn’t last. The cancer came back, and this time it spread. And yet, somehow, my sister continues to fight. She still puts others first, tries to do what she wants in life, and always, always makes time for others.

She is currently taking part in a clinical trial, putting her hope and strength into finding something that will help her and others going through similar crap.

As her sister, I wish more than anything that I could take this away from her. I wish I could carry the pain, the fear and the uncertainty for her... but I can’t. What I can do though, is stand beside her 😊 so, I’m doing the ACRF Brave Shave for my sister.

Shaving, cutting and/or colouring my hair is such a small thing compared to what she has and continues to endure, but I hope it shows her that she'll never have to fight alone.

I’m raising money for cancer research because I want to help create more hope for people like my sister 🤍💜🖤 I want there to be more treatments, more options, more smiles and more chances. I want a future where a teenager diagnosed with cancer has every possible chance to beat it.
