I’m taking on ACRF’s Brave Shave this World Cancer Research Day to raise vital funds for research into all cancers.
Hello.
I am cutting my hair super short and raising funds to support my mum who has metastatic breast cancer. She has been battling cancer since I was a baby. Two of my grandparents have also had cancer. One is currently having treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer, and another who faced melanoma & bladder cancer. I also want to donate my hair so it can be made into a wig for people who have lost hair during chemotherapy.
I am raising vital funds to support the 2 in 5 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. With your help, we can transform the way we prevent, diagnose and treat ALL types of cancer and put an end to this devastating disease.

As you probably know, I’ll be taking bold action with my hair this Tuesday, 24 September, World Cancer Research Day, in support of the countless brave Australians who face cancer every day.
I’ve had such a great response to my first goal of $1000 that I’ve now increased my fundraising goal to $2000!! Will you support me by spreading the word to others who might be willing to make a donation?
