I'm dedicating my Brave Shave to my Loved one,

I'm taking on ACRF's Brave Shave this September

In September, I’m shaving my head! 😳✂️

I’m taking part in the Brave Shave to support the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF), alongside friends in another state who are taking on the challenge with me.

From a research perspective, what makes ACRF particularly meaningful to me is the way it helps give cancer researchers access to the technology, equipment and infrastructure they need to turn ambitious ideas into discoveries. ACRF supports researchers across Australia working on prevention, earlier detection and better treatments for all types of cancer.

That investment can have a much bigger ripple effect — enabling collaboration, building research capability and helping researchers take the next step towards discoveries that can ultimately change lives.

So, while losing my hair is a small personal sacrifice, supporting the people doing the research feels like a very worthwhile one.

Now I just need to work out whether I’m going for brave, bold or questionable life choice. 😂

BRAVE SHAVE 2026!** 💜 Well… there’s no going back now! ✂️😄 A huge thank you to everyone who supported my Brave Shave — whether you donated, shared my fundraising page, encouraged me along the way, or simply cheered me on. Your support has meant so much to me and those loved ones who it helps to serve. I’m incredibly grateful for every single donation. Together, we’re helping fund vital cancer research and making a difference for people affected by cancer.
