Brave Shave 2026

We're taking on ACRF's Brave Shave this September

On Tuesday 6 October, Lion employees will come together at the York Street office to support two very brave Lion employees as they put their hair on the line for cancer research.

As part of ACRF’s Brave Shave campaign, three volunteers will Brave the Shave and to raise vital funds in support of cancer research.

Brave Shave is about showing courage and solidarity with the more than 2 in 5 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. By changing their hair and fundraising for ACRF, our two volunteers are helping support research into all types of cancer, with the aim of enabling earlier detection, gentler treatments and better outcomes.

The activation is also a celebration of the longstanding partnership between Lion and Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF). Lion has been a valued supporter of ACRF for many years through Workplace Giving and employee matching, providing an ongoing way for Lion employees and the organisation to contribute to cancer research together.

This event brings that partnership to life, giving Lion employees the opportunity to come together, celebrate the incredible commitment of our two volunteers and show their support for the millions of Australians whose lives are affected by cancer.

Employees are invited to join us from 12:30pm at the York Street office to cheer on our volunteers, get involved in the activation and help raise vital funds for cancer research.

Please support us in backing the brave and all those impacted by this devastating disease. Together we can change the meaning of a cancer diagnosis for future generations.
