60km In May for Cancer Research 🔬

I have no doubt cancer has affected you in one way or another; a family member, a friend or maybe it’s been you directly affected.

I’ve decided to sign up to the 60km in May to not only try and do my part by raising funds towards research but to keep a high level of motivation as I work towards gaining my health and fitness back after my diagnoses in August 2024. It’s been a long 8months and it’s time for me to find myself again.

Without the current research, treatments, surgery options and medications my story may have been very different and sadly in the past (before research) that was the case for many people.

This horrendous disease can strike anyone at anytime at any age; no discrimination. So we need to ensure this area of illness is well funded for the future.
