A place to honour the ones we love
Dedicate your commitment to moving 60kms in May to those 2 in 5 Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. Leave a message of love, support, and encouragement to share with all Australians, someone you love, or even just for you.

Walking for my dad, Alex, who passed away 12 years ago. Your little girl is graduating high school next year and she wishes you could be here to see it. I'm also walking for my Lola Dorothea. Mum says the most amazing things about you and I wish I could have met you in person <3

For my Mum, Jill Boothby, who we lost in December 2024. As the walk is in May (when Mother's Day occurs) - I think of her often as I walk (did this last year as well). Dad's joining me this year. Miss you, Mum.

I am walking for my partner of 25 years who passed in 2016, two of my sisters who passed in 2017 and 2023, and also for my current partner who has been battling for 6 years. I also dedicate my effort to all who have fought and will fight cancer. Research is essential to deepen our understanding of the disease and open up new treatments.

I would walk and walk and walk if it stopped people having to suffer from cancer. I wish it were that simple. Every dollar raised will allow further research and maybe more understanding and answers, and ultimately less suffering. I wish I could have saved you Mum xx
