Tapped
I'm Scotty, a 51-year-old Volunteer Fire & Rescue firefighter. In a moment of impulsivity I signed up to the 2027 World Police & Fire Games to compete in the Men's Jiu-Jitsu event, but there's one issue... I've never done Jiu-Jitsu.
So with only 6 months to prepare for an international-level competition, I found myself a jiu-jitsu coach and personal trainer. You can watch my journey on Instagram and TikTok - @scottymustbetapped
My incredible stepdad, Steve, taught me the values of integrity, humility, respect and courage. When he passed away from cancer last year, I didn't just lose my Dad, but a friend and mentor. I dedicate this journey to him.
Welcome to my journey. Welcome to Tapped.

Tapped - Ep2
Thursday 20th Aug@scottymustbetapped Started BJJ training last night, turns out my brother just joined last week 😆 So we spent the night leg locking each other. Good fun. So. What’s my morning routine look like now? (it used to be sleepins and McMuffins).
