I am taking on 60km In May for cancer research!

Cancer may not be 100% curable but I believe that God can perform miracles. 

My team name refers to Psalm 5:11 - “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.” 

Cancer is a battle of hope. Believing that the tests will perform well and you’ll wake up free from disappointment. Countless nights of questioning yourself ‘will I ever live a normal life again?’

Even though scientists and doctors don’t have all the research to prevent cancer from occurring or why it does. As a firm believer in Christ I know prayer is the best medicine, you just need the faith for them to be answered.

This is why I am taking part in Australia’s Cancer Research Foundation in the hope to achieve the goal of walking/ running 60km to help raise essential funds for lifesaving cancer research.

In May, you’ll have the opportunity to join my team and support those of the 2 in 5 Australians who will face a cancer diagnosis by the age of 85.
