Seven years ago I cut I cut and donated my hair for cancer research. Since then I lost my father to cancer and recently two of my school friends passed from cancer within weeks of each other. But it's not always bad news. Two of my cousins were diagnosed with different cancers before their 16th birthday and thanks to their dedicated care teams and new and emerging treatment options they are both now cancer free. That is why I’m going to do it again by taking the ACRF Hair Dare to support Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) in their mission to achieve a world without cancer.
I am raising vital funds to support the 2 in 5 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. With your help, we can transform the way we prevent, diagnose and treat ALL types of cancer and put an end to this devastating disease.
