Lillian Crocker

Brave Shave 2026

I'm dedicating my Brave Shave to my Family members, Pete

I'm taking on ACRF's Brave Shave this September

My name is Lillian, and I’m fundraising in honour of my cousin, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Alongside my sister, I’ll be shaving my head OR cutting my hair really short,  to raise funds and awareness for cancer, and for the devastating impact it can have on not just one person, but an entire family.
Shaving your head is scary. But it’s nowhere near as scary as being told you have cancer.
For someone going through chemotherapy, losing your hair — or your magnificent beard — can feel like losing a little piece of yourself. It can affect your confidence and change the way you see yourself during an already incredibly difficult time.
So, I’ve decided to lose my hair with him, for him, and for everyone who has lost theirs to cancer treatment.
It’s a small thing compared to what my cousin and so many others are going through, but if shaving our heads can help raise awareness, or give him even the slightest comfort,
then it’s more than worth it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. And an even bigger thank you to anyone who is able to donate. No amount is too small — even the cost of your next coffee could make a difference.
