I’m taking on the ACRF Challenge to support Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) in their mission to achieve a world without cancer.
I am raising vital funds to support the 2 in 5 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. With your help, we can transform the way we prevent, diagnose and treat ALL types of cancer and put an end to this devastating disease.

So what's the plan🤔
I’m taking on the spectacular Brisbane Valley Rail Trail! It’s 161km of beautiful gravel passing through gorgeous country towns like Linville, Blackbutt, Toogoolawah, and Esk.
The daily game plan:
🏃♀️ Distance: Minimum 40km per day.
⏰ Time: Roughly 8 hours of running and walking daily.
🥪 Food: Carrying daily stores and buying extra in towns.
💧 Water: Carrying 2L and refilling constantly (potable water is scarce in some towns!).
I also have the ultimate secret weapon: my amazing husband! He will be meeting me at the end of each day with a hot meal, a bed, and my resupply gear. Then, it's repeat time.
I’ll be posting updates here, on Instagram, and on my ACRF page whenever I have a signal.

18km walk/run this morning. Tested the pack with items I feel I need on this challenge. All is good in that dept. Will try to lighten it up. Body went well. I am super excited.
