Brave Shave 2026

I'm dedicating my Brave Shave to my Parents, Lorna & Bob Briginshaw

I'm taking on ACRF's Brave Shave this September

Hi everyone. 💜

This month, I’m doing something I’ve been thinking about for a while — I’m shaving my head for the ACRF Brave Shave to raise money for cancer research.

And honestly? I was about 90% ready to shave the noggin anyway 😂 So I figured I might as well put it to good use and raise some money while I’m at it!

But there’s a much more personal reason I’m doing this.

I lost my dad to melanoma and my mum to brain cancer. Two different cancers. Two people I love and miss every single day.

So this shave is for them.
It’s for the people currently fighting cancer.
It’s for the families standing beside them.
And it’s for all of us who hope that one day, a cancer diagnosis doesn’t carry the same devastating meaning it does today.

Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Neither should cancer research.

I’m raising funds to support research into ALL types of cancer — research that can help us prevent, detect and treat cancer, and ultimately change the future for generations to come.

If you’d like to be part of it, I’d absolutely love your support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps.

For Dad. For Mum. For everyone. 💜

Let’s make this bald head count. ✨
