I am taking on 100km In May for cancer research!
I am taking part in Australian Cancer Research Foundation's 60km In May challenge to help raise essential funds for lifesaving cancer research.
In May, we will be walking or running 60km or more (our goal is 100km!) in support of the 2 in 5 Australians who will face a cancer diagnosis by the age of 85.
I was recently diagnosed with Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma (kidney cancer) at the age of 23. I can happily say I have had surgery to remove the tumor and am currently in remission at this point in time but, we are still proceeding with caution for now! This cause is very important to me as you could imagine so I'm definitely excited to take part in this challenge!
By committing to support brilliant cancer research, we can help to transform the way we prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.
Please support me in my challenge so that we can move towards a cancer-free future together.
