Brave Shave 2026

I'm dedicating my Brave Shave to my Myself, and everyone going through cancer

I'm supporting ACRF's Brave Shave this September

After my breast cancer diagnosis in December 2025, I had 5 months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, followed by major surgery and then 3 weeks of radiation treatment.

I am now starting my 3rd round and 5th type of chemotherapy, for the next six months. The aim of this is to remove any remaining cancer cells and prevent recurrence. I will lose my hair again. But I can colour and shave my regrowth first! ☺️

I’m joining this fundraiser in honour of the 2 in 5 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, and the 1 in 7 women diagnosed with breast cancer (55 per DAY).

By committing to support brilliant cancer research, we can help to transform the way we prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.

Much more research is needed to save lives of those affected by rare types of cancer. This is important to me in particular, having an extremely rare diagnosis of Invasive Lobular Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I am now part of a clinical trial to test a new chemotherapy drug aiming to improve my long term outcome and life span.
