I'm supporting ACRF's Brave Shave this September
By committing to support brilliant cancer research, we can help to transform the way we prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.
Much more research is needed to save lives of those affected by rare types of cancer. This is important to me in particular, having an extremely rare diagnosis of Invasive Lobular Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I am now part of a clinical trial to test a new chemotherapy drug aiming to improve my long term outcome and life span.

Tuesday 15th Sep My hair properly started falling out yesterday, and this morning my pillow was a nice work of hair art 😂 So the time had come to do the buzz cut. Maddy got to it with the clippers and did a great job! It’s nice that we can have control over this, to some degree 🥰
Chemo round 3, treatment 2
Thursday 10th Sep My second treatment as part of the clinical trial went ahead on Tuesday. Alll went okay, it’s just a very long day starting by arriving at 9am for check-ins, data collection and pre-meds before treatment finally started at 1pm. We were done by 4pm.

Thursday 10th Sep So I changed to blue today, but with the pink it’s gone sort of purple 👩🎤

Sunday 6th Sep So I’ve gone for pink. But maybe I’ll try adding some rainbow with the hair chalk! Thank you so much for your generous donations 💝 Every single dollar counts and is greatly appreciated 💗
