2KM A Day In May Challenge

Support me in backing brilliant!

I am taking part in ACRF's 2km a Day in May challenge to help raise essential funds for lifesaving cancer research.

Every day in May, I will be moving for 2kms or more in support of the 2 in 5 Australians who will face a cancer diagnosis by the age of 85.

By committing to support brilliant cancer research, we can help to transform the way we prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.

Let's move towards a cancer-free future together

My Updates

Not the start I wanted

So I signed up, set myself what I thought to be a goal I could totally smash and then life stepped in….

Ironically, it’s surgery to remove skin cancer from my upper eye lid that has me laid up and barely walking 1/2km per day let alone 2+

While I’ve had loved ones go through treatment, I never really contemplated that I’d be one of the 2 in 5 to be diagnosed and am extremely lucky that it was not malignant.

The timing with my commitment to this challenge makes this even more important.

Please support me as I prepare to step it up once I’m back on my feet. Committed to 62km. Progress so far - 9.2km on May 1 and  6.5km on May 2. I’ll have to do extra once I’m cleared.

Thank you to my Sponsors
