I'm taking on ACRF's Brave shave for World Cancer Research Day and shaving off my beard!!
I am raising vital funds to support the 2 in 5 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.By committing to support brilliant cancer research, we can help to transform the way we prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.

That $1000 target seemed a long shot this afternoon, but thanks to all your generosity it was shot to pieces in no time!! Thanks everyone. Many will already know, and for those who don't, I have been growing the beard since October 2024 for this moment. My main aim was to raise awareness for all cancers, not just one specific type. I hope that good will come from this and now look forward to the shave next week. Indy will braid the beard, I will ask a brave soldier to chop it off (Neil?) and then will clean shave.
