I am taking on 60km In May for cancer research!
I am taking part in Australian Cancer Research Foundation's 60km In May challenge to help raise essential funds for lifesaving cancer research.
In May, I will be walking or running 60km or more in support of the 2 in 5 Australians who will face a cancer diagnosis by the age of 85.
By committing to support brilliant cancer research, we can help to transform the way we prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.
In 2024 I was part of the cancer centre at FSH, fortunately for me it was a false alarm however the fear of knowing it could be what was lurking was enough to make it feel like reality and the months of testing and the unknown was gruelling. I’ve chosen to do this challenge to show me support to individuals going through testing/treatment and also those that have overcome or lost their fight.
Please support me in my challenge so that we can move towards a cancer-free future together.
