Hi, my name is Teaghan, and I am a Year 11 student from Perth WA.Â
I live with my Mum, Dad, Older Brother, and our two pets Mister (our energetic Jack Russell) and Floyd (our playful Russian Blue).Â
Outside of School and Work, I find myself having a passion for dancing; being able to express emotions through movement is a gift, that I will always appreciate.
I chose to support ACRF because cancer is a horrible disease that has taken so much from me, my family and my friends. Through this fundraiser, I hope to contribute to a cancer free future, that allows people to spend more time with their loved ones. I am doing this for my Poppy (who I lost to a rare blood cancer around 3 years ago), for my Nanna (that I never got to meet, as cancer took her away from my family at just 50 years of age), for Kelly (who at age 40 was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer), for My Auntie Rose (who fought her fight but was taken from us too soon) , and for those who have defeated cancer, who are still fighting it, and those we have lost because of it.Â
I am doing 2km a day in May to support the amazing work that ACRF does for people all over Australia.Â
