The Silk Rags Project - Improving Communication Strategies upon a Cancer Diagnosis and donating to Cancer Research.
The Silk Rags Project is an entertaining learning experience that gives communication strategies upon a cancer diagnosis. We are a Social Enterprise donating 38% of our gross proceeds to Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
Whilst undergoing their own cancer treatment, Briohne Sykes and Dee Handyside separately created a script and musical album which covered the experience. This resource is available as a Fundraising Theatrical Musical, a Host@Home Kit, a Roleplay Workshop for Cancer Patients and their Carers and a Presentation to Community Groups. You can find out more at our website: www.thesilkragsproject.com
I am raising vital funds to support the 2 in 5 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. With your help, we can transform the way we prevent, diagnose and treat ALL types of cancer and put an end to this devastating disease.
Thank you for your generous donation. Supporting ACRF means giving Australia’s best cancer research to the people who need it most. That could be someone you know – someone you care about – your family, your friends, your community, perhaps even you.
