We're fundraising in aid of cancer research

The Mercurius Group team is joining Moodie Davitt’s  #KickCancerThon through raising funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.  We are reaching out to all our clients, associates and friends to support us in raising funds and visibility for cancer research through sponsoring The Mercurius Group’s participation on the event.

Each team member has set their own goals to reach 42.19km throughout the month of February. With the team residing and travelling throughout the region, and world, we’ll be recording our endeavours with some inspiring location shots.

Diane

As a lifelong swimmer, and all round active sporting event enthusiast, Diane set herself the challenge to swim 42.19km throughout February. With a number of travel commitments from home in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, to hometown Brighouse, West Yorkshire, the choice of swimming locations (outdoor Olympic sized pools to resort pools to indoor council pools) together with weather risks (cyclones to blizzards) will add to challenge.

Ivo

To add some extra challenge to his regular Saturday morning ‘mates and dog’ walk Ivo has committed to up his total steps in February to 42.19km. As a frequent traveller to clients throughout Oceania he’ll be packing his walking shoes and sharing photos of his morning walks in the many picturesque locations.

Matt

Residing in Jakarta, congestion and air quality pushes Matt’s activity choices indoors. Making use of the airconditioned (including filtered air) gym he’s upping the months distance challenge to 42.19km on the stationary treadmill together with travels to Singapore and Japan adventuring outdoors for his steps.

Fraser 

Known for his love of a fine coffee and croissant Fraser will be adding some extra kms to his daily café walk with the challenge to get his total monthly steps up to 42.19km. Living close the Sydney’s iconic beaches we’re looking forward to Fraser sharing some pictures of his daily café walks.

Leeanne

Leeanne will strapping on her walking shoes, focusing on her ‘mindfulness me time’ she’ll be pounding out 42.19km around Sydney Harbour foreshores. Whilst we don’t want to interrupt her quiet time we are expecting there will be some glorious shots of Sydney Harbour.

Shane

Reconnecting to his running days Shane is committing to getting 42.19km of running in during February. Located in mid-coast of New South Wales we’re expecting to see some great shots of the region during Shane’s running routes.

To kick start fund raising The Mercurius Group is donating $500 per employee and we invite our network to make their own donations
